Here's another never-to-be-repeated waistcoat - made from scraps and offcuts. We made four in total, each one different. This one has luxurious velvet piping, no fastenings. It's designed to sit open, but you could add frogging or toggles if you felt so inclined. We made four gilets/waistcoats as a project to see what we could do with the scraps and offcuts. This is one of them - they're all different and all equally fabulous. This one is lined with a synthetic lining (we cut up an old sheet that was to hand) but everything else is natural cotton.
